The UPC participated in the Study in Europe Fair in Kenya, held on April 5th in Nairobi, where it presented its study programmes and established contacts for future collaborations. This event reinforces the University's commitment to international projection and internationalisation.

The Study in Europe Fair Kenya, organised by the European Union, aims to promote study opportunities in Europe amongst Kenyan students interested in expanding their academic training at European institutions. Over thirty European institutions participated in this edition.

The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (UPC) provided detailed information about its undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programmes, as well as the scholarships and financial aid available for international students. During the fair, meetings were also held with academic institutions and local companies to explore potential collaborations in research and mobility of students and academic staff.

The large attendance of students at the fair highlighted the growing interest amongst Kenyan students in pursuing higher education abroad. Attendees had the opportunity to clarify doubts about admission requirements, application processes, and funding options.

This is the third fair in Africa that the UPC participates in during the first semester of the year. These events act as strategic meeting points between European institutions and African students and represent an opportunity for the UPC to consolidate its presence in a continent where the University has a growing projection.

Participation in this fair is part of the University's international projection and internationalisation strategy, within the framework of the Pla UPC Internacional 2023-2026.
