For UPC international incoming students, academic year 2021-2022
- I had applied for an exchange at UPC, for next academic year (2020/2021). When will I know if I have been admitted or not? Will the admission deadlines have some delay?
Please ask the host UPC school/faculty where you would like to be admitted. The majority of UPC schools/faculties keep the same admission periods as usually, but they are giving some flexibility in the deadlines for those students of partner universities that have any kind of difficulties and have notified it to UPC.
- I have been admitted for an exchange period at UPC for next academic year 2020/2021. Could there be some variation due to the emergency situation?
At UPC we are looking forward to the fall semester and, yet again would like to welcome many international exchange students. UPC wants to keep a positive state of mind, while still being realistic and responsible. Now it is still too soon to know if there will be a delay in the start of the first semester of the academic year 2020/2021, or if maybe the lectures will begin in the online mode.
For the moment, we will process as usually the nominations and applications of exchange students.
Any news and/or instructions will be communicated as soon as possible.
- I have been conceded an exchange period at UPC for next academic year 2020/2021, but the Spanish Consulate in my country is now closed. What should I do? Will I be able to obtain the Spanish student visa on time?
As soon as the Spanish Consulate is open again in your country, you should ask for the Spanish student visa.
When the situation becomes more stable, from UPC we will try to help in expediting these kinds of situations as much as possible, within our possibilities.
