If you are interested in...
Having your first contact with the Catalan language. Learning basic expressions: saying hello, introducing yourself or asking for information. Preparing to follow classes in Catalan. Being able to understand basic communication in your environment and interact in simple terms in Catalan.

Aim and intended audience | Cultural and language reception of Erasmus students and students on other mobility programmes who have just arrived at the UPC. |

25-hour blended courses:

Credits | 1 ECTS credit. Credit recognition depends on the sending university. |
Level | The course covers content at Level A.1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. |
Certificates | A PASS mark is awarded if 80% of attendance is achieved and compulsory assignments are completed. In these cases the Language and Terminology Service issues a course certificate. |
Fee | The course is subsidised and free. |

SALSA'M programme | This course is part of the activities in SALSA'M programme, the cultural and language reception mentoring programme. |
Organisation | Just Arrived is organised by the Language and Terminology Service of the UPC, in collaboration with the International Relations Bureau and in accordance with the objectives of the 2022-2025 UPC Language Plan y el Plan to strengthen the Catalan language in the university and research system of Catalonia. |
