The UPC in the June 2022 Ranking Web of Repositories: Transparent Ranking

The June 2022 edition of the Ranking Web of Repositories: Transparent Ranking is based on the data obtained from Google Scholar during the first week of June.

In the global ranking, the open document repository of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, UPCommons, ranks 22nd in the world, 9th in Europe and 2nd in Spain. The top spot in Spain goes, for the first time, to the Digital CSIC repository, which belongs to the institution that publishes the Ranking.

In the ranking of institutional repositories, UPCommons ranks 12th worldwide, 6th in Europe and 2nd in Spain, after Digital CSIC. 

The list that included open repositories and portals in Spain every year has been replaced this year by an equivalent list for Turkey.

The number of records indexed in UPCommons keeps rising, from 86,700 in February 2022 to 89,300 in the latest edition.

Digital CSIC went from 76,100 records last February to 91,300 in the current edition.
