Ranking Web of Repositories: Transparent Ranking

The latest edition of the Ranking Web of Repositories was published in the second half of 2017.It measured four indicators: size, visibility (the number of computer networks receiving links), the number of mentions on social networks and the number of items in Google Scholar, excluding citations and patents. As an alternative to this now-defunct ranking, the Cybermetrics Laboratory of the Spanish National Research Council publishes the Ranking Web of Repositories: Transparent Ranking.

This new ranking is a simplified version of the original Ranking Web of Repositories, since it ranks repositories solely on the basis of one of the previous indicators: the number of records in Google Scholar, excluding citations and patents.
