The 2016 editions of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings and World University Rankings by Subject have been published

The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings (WUR) rank the world's 978 best institutions by analysing thirteen indicators linked to institutions' research, teaching, internationalisation and reputation.

This year, Business and Economics and Computer Science have been added to the existing THE WUR subjects Arts and Humanities, Clinical, Pre-Clinical and Health, Engineering and Technology, Life Sciences, Physicial Sciences and Socials Sciences.

No Spanish institutions are ranked in Engineering and Technology, and the UPC is the only institution in  Spain that is ranked in Computer Science, in the 93rd position.
