2024 edition of ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects published

The ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects lists the world’s top institutions in 55 disciplines. It analyses nine indicators focused on research, leadership and international recognition of academic staff. 

Institutions must have a minimum number of publications in Web of Science for the 2019-2023 period, which ranges from 25 to 300 publications depending on the area.  In the 2024 edition, more than 5,000 universities have made it onto one or more lists of the Ranking.

The UPC is ranked in 19 lists, among the world’s 100 best universities in Civil Engineering
