Seminar: “12 years of global university rankings - a panoramic (re)view and an update on recent developments”

The 47th Seminar on European Policy was organised by the Academic Cooperation Association (ACA) and attended by Francesc Torres, head of the Department of Signal Theory and Communications at the UPC. The main objective was to present an overview of the development of university rankings, considered as information and marketing tools.

The seminar also addressed the diversity and increasing numbers of rankings in recent years, and analysed the latest changes in the methodology used in international university rankings.
