UPC card
The UPC Card identifies you as a member of the university community (student, teaching and research staff, administrative and service staff) or as a member of the UPC Group. It is a digital card and is available in the App UPC
The App UPC also includes other services depending on the group you belong to: notices and relevant notifications, academic record, class and exam timetables, institutional e-mail, etc.

In addition to the digital UPC card, if you need access to buildings or photocopying services, you will need an access card.

How do I get the UPC card?
The UPC card is virtual. In order to get one you must be registered in the digital identity database and you must have uploaded a photo from App UPC or from MyId.
You are automatically registered in the digital identity database when you enrol, if you are a student, or when the contract starts, if you are a member of staff.
What are the requirements for the photo?
It must be a passport-type photo, in colour, of just the face (the eyes must be visible) and have a white background. Bear in mind that half-body portraits or photos that don’t have a white background won’t be validated.

How can I change my photo?
You can change your photo in App UPC or MyId.
When will my photo be added to my UPC card?
The photograph goes through a validation process. If it is validated, it will be updated in all UPC systems within 24 to 48 hours. If it is not validated, you will receive an e-mail indicating the reasons why it has not been validated.
After 24/48 hours from the validation of the photo, I still can’t visualize my image on the UPC card. Whom should I contact?
