Biography
Imma Ribas has a degree in Industrial Engineering (1996) from the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB) and a doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering (2007) from the Universitat Politècnica de València. Since 2013, she has been an associate professor who is attached to the Department of Management and affiliated with the ETSEIB.
As a researcher, she is part of the research group Supply Chain and Operations Management (SCOM). She is the author or co-author of more than 30 articles published in indexed journals, more than 30 conference papers and five book chapters. She has supervised two doctoral theses and has participated in nine national and European competitive research projects, three of which as the principal investigator. She is an associate editor of the journals Expert Systems with Applications and Journal of Urban Mobility Expert Systems with Applications and Journal of Urban Mobility.
As regards management, she was the secretary of the Department of Management (2012–2019) and the assistant director of Academic Policy and Master’s Degrees (2021).
