Lluís Monfort has been a member of the administrative and service staff of the UPC since 2003. He has a degree in History, in which he specialised in Prehistoric Archaeology. At the UPC he has worked in the Accounts and Finance Service and the External Relations Area of the Baix Llobregat Campus, as the head of Degree Promotion (2007-2016). From 2007 to 2019 he was deputy mayor in the Sant Just Desvern Town Council. During the period in which he worked outside the UPC for the provision of special services (2016-2021), he worked as a public policy advisor in the Barcelona Provincial Council, the Castelldefels Town Council and the Ecology Area of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area public administration body.
