Incubation spaces
Parc UPC, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya’s Research and Innovation Park, is an innovation ecosystem that provides infrastructure and services to companies and entities working intensively in RDI. It is a driving force between the UPC and the socioeconomic actors that promotes the University's social commitment to the transfer of scientific and technological progress.
Knowledge to Market (K2M)
The K2M (Knowledge to Market) building is located in Barcelona, on the UPC's North Campus. It hosts university-business projects, technology-based companies and research centres and institutes.
The location of this building facilitates university-business relations, providing companies with the knowledge and technology generated at the UPC to increase innovation capacity and competitiveness. Companies are provided with knowledge, technology, talent, equipment and scientific and technical infrastructure.
Research, Development, and Technological Innovation (RDIT)
The RDIT building is located in the Mediterranean Technology Park (PMT-UPC) in Castelldefels. It hosts university-business projects, technology-based companies and research centres and institutes.
It is just 5 minutes from El Prat international airport, 20 minutes from the centre of Barcelona, and 5 minutes from the beach. It has good connections with Barcelona, the metropolitan area and El Prat airport.
GAIA
The GAIA building is located in Terrassa, on the UPC's Terrassa Campus. It hosts university-business projects, technology-based companies, research centres and institutes, and innovation units.
The location of this building facilitates collaboration between the University and companies, offering access to the knowledge and technology developed at the UPC to boost their innovation capacity and competitiveness. Companies are provided with knowledge, technology, talent, equipment and scientific and technical infrastructure.
