Registrations are open during all the Virtual Postgraduate Fair of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech (UPC), which offers an extensive programme of online information sessions on master’s, doctoral and lifelong learning master’s degrees in the fields of engineering, architecture, science and technology. The event will feature live information sessions, with teaching staff from various programmes presenting the academic content, curriculum and career opportunities and answering attendees’ questions.
The virtual fair, running from 3 to 7 March, is structured into 13 themed pavilions, each representing a different area of knowledge at the university. From these pavilions, visitors can access dedicated stands with detailed information on master’s, doctoral and lifelong learning master’s degrees.
Additionally, the fair will feature specific sessions covering topics such as the pre-enrolment and admission process for master’s degrees, grants and financial aid, talks aimed at international students, providing practical guidance on degree recognition, visas and accommodation, and more. The fair will also offer visitors a live chat service to address questions about specific postgraduate programmes.
Wide offer of postgraduate degrees
The UPC offers 96 master’s degrees - 50 taught in English - 46 doctoral degrees and 141 lifelong learning master’s degrees in emerging areas with high graduate employment. According to data from the last graduate employment survey by AQU Catalunya, 94% of UPC master’s degree graduates are in work and 93 % took less than six months to find a job. International experience also plays a crucial role: the UPC has 1,555 exchange agreements with 695 higher education institutions worldwide, allowing nearly 3,200 students to participate in mobility programmes last year.
