The International Emergency Committee of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech (UPC) is monitoring the impact of the Israel-Hamas war on the University and is contacting members of the UPC community who may be affected. The University offers them help and support, including mental health support, academic guidance and financial support to pay tuition.

The University has also created a mailbox (crisi.orientmitja@upc.edu) to channel direct information on the situation. 

Universities against war and in favour of dialogue
The UPC has signed the statement issued by the Catalan Association of Public Universities (ACUP) following the escalation of war in the Middle East and published on 11 October.

Universities have also issued a statement through Crue Universidades Españolas to condemn the escalation of war in the Middle East and extend their sympathy to the university and scientific communities in Israel and Palestine.
