ATENEA Exams is the UPC’s tool for non-face-to-face exams during lockdown.
After a number of stress tests, the UPC has guaranteed the full operation of its high-performance exclusive hardware: the platform is set up so that 2,000 students can start an exam at the same time.
Operation is very simple: students see a timer that shows how long they must wait to access the exam. The system can stagger accesses for a minute and is set up so that 5,000 students can take an exam simultaneously (obviously for different subjects and schools).
For students it is a completely transparent system and for professors it just means creating the exam in ATENEA Exams or transferring it from Atenea and creating a link in Atenea with the parameters of the exam.
