The 15th UPC Research Valorisation Award, organised by the UPC’s Board of Trustees in collaboration with Fractus, aims to recognise the work of UPC research groups in several valorisation categories.

Specifically, the award is presented in three categories:

  • Best technology transfer project by contract from UPC research groups.
  • Best invention or work for its market application.
  • Best technology-based company or spin-off.

Each award category is endowed with 5,000 euros.

Applications can be submitted electronically until 10 April.

Support from the Fractus-UPC Deep Tech Hub
For the second consecutive time, this biennial award is supported by Fractus, a pioneering company in antenna technologies that was founded over 25 years ago as a UPC spin-off.  In this 15th edition, Fractus provides a total of 15,000 euros: 5,000 for each of the three categories.

This support is part of the activities of the Fractus-UPC Deep Tech Hub, a dynamic ecosystem dedicated to fostering innovation, collaboration and entrepreneurship in deep technologies, capable of creating disruptive solutions once implemented.
